I was fascinated by the large silent spaces of the old building with the light coming down from the high skylights, the pieces of raw wood waiting to be transformed, the tools distributed in the different processing areas, the clouds of sawdust from which more and more shapes magically emerged close to final perfection ...
I followed the construction of an electric bass from the piece of log cut into slices with a chainsaw until the arrival of the musician, excited and touched as he tried the new instrument.

Mi hanno affascinato i grandi spazi silenziosi del vecchio edificio con la luce che scendeva dagli alti lucernari, i pezzi di legno grezzo in attesa di essere trasformati, gli attrezzi distribuiti nelle diverse aree di lavorazione, le nubi di segatura da cui uscivano magicamente forme sempre più vicine alla perfezione finale…
Ho seguito la costruzione di un basso elettrico dal pezzo di tronco tagliato a fette con la motosega sino all’arrivo del musicista, emozionato e commosso mentre provava il nuovo strumento.
